Agent Orange lab report
What 140 state lab tests of Agent Orange flower show beyond a single THC number: the odds of a strong batch, how published figures hold up and how it reaches the shelf.1
Key findings
- 0.7% of 140 lab tests reached 20% THC or more; none reached 25%.1
- All 3 single published THC figures sit above the median lab result.1
- The lowest median THC of 29 strains (12.80%), with the 2nd-narrowest spread of 24.1
- The highest-THC third of tests carried more terpenes than the lowest (1.20% vs 0.81% total).1
- Median THC barely moved between 2018 and 2021 (+0.72 points).1

Do published THC figures for Agent Orange match the lab results?
All 3 single published figures we checked sit above the median lab result for Agent Orange (12.80%).1 The highest figure, AllBud at 25%, was not reached by any test.1,3
The one published range, Weedmaps at 16–23%, covers 10% of tests.1,4
None of these figures describes a particular jar; only the certificate of analysis for that batch does.
| Source | Published figure | Tests at or above it | Tests inside the range | Where it sits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Weedmaps4 | 16–23% | 10% | 10% | most tests came in below it |
| Leafly5 | 17% | 7.9% | — | top tenth of tests |
| Original Genetics Collective (seller)6 | 20%+ | 0.7% | — | top tenth of tests |
| AllBud3 | 25% | 0% | — | above every test |

How strong is Agent Orange compared with other strains?
By median total THC, Agent Orange has the lowest of the 29 strains in our lab dataset (12.80%), just below Critical Jack (15.01%).1 None of its tests reached 25%.1
The middle half of its tests spans 3.25 points (11.05%–14.30%), the 2nd-narrowest spread of the 24 strains with at least 30 tests: results under the name are more consistent than for most strains.1
| Rank | Strain | Median THC | Middle half | Tests |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 27th | Lemon Kush | 15.53% | small sample | 29 |
| 28th | Critical Jack | 15.01% | small sample | 8 |
| 29th | Agent Orange (this strain) | 12.80% | 11.05%–14.30% | 140 |

Does higher-THC Agent Orange also have more terpenes?
Generally, yes. In the 109 tests that report both, the third with the most THC (13.42% or more) had a median of 1.20% total terpenes, against 0.81% for the third with the least (11.37% or less).1
The pattern holds in Maryland, the only state with at least 30 such tests.1 Total terpenes measure aroma compounds by weight; the comparison says nothing about effects.
| Tests from | Tests | Lowest-THC third | Highest-THC third |
|---|---|---|---|
| All states | 109 | 0.81% | 1.20% |
| Maryland | 109 | 0.81% | 1.20% |

Is Agent Orange getting stronger?
Median THC went from 12.70% in 2018 (25 tests) to 13.42% in 2021 (43), +0.72 points.1
Holding the state fixed tells the same story: in Maryland, the median went from 12.70% in 2018 to 13.41% in 2021, +0.71 points.1
Years with fewer than 20 tests are left out.
| Year | Tests | Median THC |
|---|---|---|
| 2018 | 25 | 12.70% |
| 2019 | 34 | 12.36% |
| 2020 | 28 | 11.49% |

In what forms, and under what names, does Agent Orange reach testing labs?
Of 236 lab results under exactly the name Agent Orange, 64% were flower; shake and trim 28%, concentrates 6.8% and other or unrecorded 0.8%.1 Only flower enters the figures on this site.
Another 9 results carried a longer name that contains Agent Orange, 3.7% of all results with the name in them, led by “Agent Orange xEG” (3), “Agent Orange X Brian's Cough” (2) and “Truffle Monkey x Agent Orange” (1).1 Extra name words, cross markers and CBD versions mean these may not be the same plant, so they are excluded (how we match names).

How common and how pricey is Agent Orange on dispensary menus?
In our Weedmaps snapshot of 27 US markets (Oct 3, 2026), 85 store listings within 50 miles of each market's center carried Agent Orange flower, in 9 of the 27 markets: the 7th most of the 16 strains we track.2
Its median exact-eighth price was $50.00 in Los Angeles (typical other strain: $27.50) and $33.90 in New York (typical other strain: $35.00).2 That makes it cheaper than the typical strain in 1 of the 2 markets we could compare.
| Market | Agent Orange (priced eighths) | Typical other strain | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| Los Angeles, CA | $50.00 (39) | $27.50 (10 strains) | +$22.50 |
| New York, NY | $33.90 (11) | $35.00 (9 strains) | −$1.10 |

What this data cannot tell you
- Which terpene leads test by test: none of the 140 tests reports at least five individual terpenes; the analysis needs 20.1
- Which strains have a similar terpene mix: needs at least 30 tests with individual terpene values (0 here).1
- Lab-to-lab differences: needs at least 3 labs with 20 or more tests each.1
- A particular jar: lab results describe flower sold under the name across 5 states from 2014 to 2024; only a batch’s own certificate of analysis describes that batch.1
- Effects: these are chemistry measurements. None of them predicts how a strain will feel to a particular person.
